U6s
U6 training continues in Stradone on Saturday morning at 10am. New children always welcome.

U8s/U10s
Our U8s/U10 training is Saturday morning at 10am. Please remember to bring your gum shields.  

U12s
U12 training continues as normal. The summer league continues and we played Ballymachugh last week away. The lads played well and tried hard but it was not our day. Our next game is against Killygarry.

U14s
Our U14s played Ramor United last night  (Tuesday) in Stradone in the first round of the division 2 championship. Results on Twitter and facebook. The next round is away to Castlerahan on Thursday the 4th of August.

U16s
U16 training continues as normal. We play Knockbride in Canningstown on Friday at 7.30pm and then we are at home on Tuesday when we play Kingscourt in Stradone at 7.30pm.

Minor
Minor training continues as normal. We play Annalee Gaels in the first round of the championship which starts on the 28th of July.

Junior Football
Our junior team played Gowna in Stradone on Friday last in the first round of the Junior C championship. And in a tough game came away with a three point win. Full time score Laragh 2-09 Gowna 0-12. We now play Shercock away on Friday evening at 8pm in the next round.

Senior Football
Our senior team are back in action on Sunday when we play Templeport in Duke Park, Stradone at 2pm in the ACFL.

Camogie
 Hard luck to our senior team who were beaten in the senior league semi final by Lacken last Wednesday evening. The girls work hard and put in a great fight back but just not our day Lacken 2-07 Laragh 1-06.
The girls are now fully focused on the championship which starts this evening (Wednesday) in Ballinagh at 7.30pm against Castletara.Your support would be very much appreciated. The second round is Tuesday evening. Please check facebook and twitter for time and venue.

County Camogie
The County U16s travelled to Roscommon on Sunday last and came home with a great win following a good performance. Full time score Roscommon 0-03 Cavan 3-12. They now have two home games with Armagh this Sunday (24th of July) time and venue to be confirmed and their last game is Carlow on the 31st of July. Please support the girls.

County Football
Cavan seniors bowed out of the championship on Saturday last when Derry beat them in Kingspan Breffni Park. It was a close game but Derry pulled away in the last 10 minutes. Full time score Cavan 0-18 Derry 1-17.
The county U16s had a 1 point victory over Meath in the Gerry Reilly tournament. Full time score Meath 3-14 Cavan 5-09. This keeps the lads on target for the cup competition. They will now play Wicklow on Saturday.

Kellogg's Cul Camps

Its getting to that time of year again and the Cul camp will take place in PJ Duke park from the 8th of August until the 12th. The cost is €55 for the 1st child, €45 for the 2nd child and €40 for the 3rd and subsequent children. You can register on-line until 12 noon the Friday before camp begins or at Kngspan Breffni Park. Registration is also available on the Monday morning. This has always been a great week of GAA and this year will be no different.


Water Safety Classes
These classes will take place at Lavey Lake from the 25th of July until the 5th of August. Charge for instruction is €32 for the two weeks per person. For more information please contact the water safety development officer on 0494378300.

All Inclusive Cul Camp
A join initiative between Cavan Sports Partnership and Cavan GAA.
A cul camp for Children aged 6 to 15 years with a disability will take place in Duke Park, Stradone on the 3rd and 4th of August. This camp is unique in that it can cater for children with physical, Intellectual, learning and sensory disabilities.
