Golf Classic
Our golf classic is on the 3rd of June at Cavan golf club with main sponsor The Imperial Bar and Nite Club. A team of 4 will cost €120. If anyone would like to sponsor a tee box or for more information please contact Michael at 0872421704. Please promote this event among your friends.

Membership 
Laragh UTD (Football & Camogie) membership Adult €20,Juvenile €10 and Family membership €60 is still available from Registrar PJ Cahill and Treasurers Louise Reilly & Aidan Brady. Closing date for Membership is May 1st. All parents must ensure that their child is registered for insurance purposes.

Youth to Work Y2W
The GAA wants to help drive awareness of emerging job opportunities in tech and related sectors in the greater Cavan region. Y2W are hosting a Tech Careers Expo – an informative and enjoyable event which will offer advice and hands-on support in securing employment locally. Y2W Tech Careers Expo events will take place at 7.00PM in the following venues – Riverfront Hotel, Virginia (18th April); Slieve Russell Hotel (2nd May). Gala.
Thanks to all who helped out with the parking in Stradone on the 4 nights of the show. A great job done by all. Well done to all our members who took part, another great show.

Allianz League Division 2 Final – Ticket Information
Tickets are available in Kingspan Breffni Park, Supervalue,Tickets.ie and usual outlets. Cavan Play Tyrone at 1.30pm and then Dublin play Kerry at 3.30pm. Both games will be followed by Laochra the GAA commemoration of 1916. 


Senior Football
Our senior team travelled to Butlersbridge on Sunday last and played a very entertaining game in round 2 of the ACFL. Laragh came way with a win. Final score Butlersbridge 1-10 Laragh 1-14. We now play Templeport in Stradone on Saturday at 3.30pm. Our reserve team start their ACFL league division 2 campaign away to Denn on Sunday at 2pm. All times and venues are subject to change so keep an eye on our facebook and twitter pages for updates.





Minor Football
Our minors played Annalee Gaels on Saturday last in Ballyhaise and had a comprehensive win. Annalee Gaels 2-07 Laragh 7-16. Next game is away to Killygarry on Saturday the 30th of April at 6pm. Laragh United would like to thank Jack Brady for taking a training session with the minors last Thursday. It was great to have his input and we really appreciate him giving his time.

County Minor & U17s
The county minors play in the league semi final on Saturday against Derry in Owenbeg at 12pm. And the U17s play Tyrone in their league semi final in Garvaghey at 1.30pm also on Saturday. Good luck to Eoghan Cooney, Lee Reilly, Pauric Reilly, Paul Smith and both squads.

U16s
Our u16s played their first league game last Tuesday in Swanlinbar and were defeated. Their next fixture is in Stradone against Kingscourt at 7pm on Tuesday the 19th.

Camogie
Laragh Camogie training  on Wednesday at 7:30pm and Friday at 8:45pm for all players.

 Laragh Camogie Indoor Training continues on Mondays @ 3:15pm for U13 and Friday evenings @ 6pm for U9’s & U11’s


Garda Vetting
It is now compulsory that anyone involved in coaching is to be Garda vetted. It only involves filling in a simple form. Garda vetting forms for all underage coach's, mentor's, manager's etc are available from the clubs children's officer Shay Power.
