Golf Classic
Our golf classic is on the 3rd of June at Cavan golf club with main sponsor The Imperial Bar and Nite Club. A team of 4 will cost €120. If anyone would like to sponsor a tee box or for more information please contact Michael at 0872421704. This is our main fundraiser of the year and all support is appreciated.

County Minors and U17s
The minors were beaten in Owenbeg on Saturday last by Derry while the U17s were also defeated by a very strong Tyrone side in Garvaghey.

Membership 
Laragh UTD (Football & Camogie) membership Adult €20,Juvenile €10 and Family membership €60 is still available from Registrar PJ Cahill and Treasurers Louise Reilly & Aidan Brady. Closing date for Membership is May 1st. All parents must ensure that their child is registered for insurance purposes.

Youth to Work Y2W
The GAA wants to help drive awareness of emerging job opportunities in tech and related sectors in the greater Cavan region. Y2W are hosting a Tech Careers Expo – an informative and enjoyable event which will offer advice and hands-on support in securing employment locally. Y2W Tech Careers Expo events will take place at 7.00PM in the Slieve Russell Hotel (2nd May). Register at Y2W@fit.ie – for more details on this initiative see the post about it on our Facebook page.

County Senior Team
All at Laragh United want to wish the Cavan team and management good luck for Sunday next. This is a wonderful occasion for Cavan football and we will be there to cheer you on.

Allianz League Division 2 Final – Ticket Information
Tickets are available in Kingspan Breffni Park, Supervalu,Tickets.ie and usual outlets. Cavan Play Tyrone at 1.30pm and then Dublin play Kerry at 3.30pm. Both games will be followed by Laochra the GAA commemoration of 1916. 

U16s
Our u16s will play Killygarry away on Tuesday the 26th of April at 7pm. Your support would be welcome.

U14s
Our u14s start their division 2 wilton waste league campaign on Thursday the 21st of April away to Mullahoran at 7.15pm. 

U12s
Our u12s played a very strong Gowna team on Monday last in Stradone. In very wet conditions it was a credit to both team to play so well. Our next game is in Stradone against Ballymachugh on Monday the 25th of April at 7pm. Please support these young players who put heart and soul into their football.

Referee
Congratulations to Louise Reilly who refereed the Minor C All-Ireland Camogie final on Saturday last between Tyrone and Monaghan. Another great achievement for our club referees. For the record Tyrone won.


Minors
Minor training continues as usual and our last two league games are Killygarry away on Saturday 30th of April at 6pm and Belturbet at home on Friday the 6th of May.



Championship Draw
Laragh United footballers will play Drumgoon in the opening round of the Intermediate football championship while our Camogs will play Castletara in the open round of the senior Camogie Championship, dates venues will be decided later.

Camogie
Our senior team play Casltetara in the 2nd round of the senior league on Friday evening at 8.30pm on the 3g. Your support would be appreciated.  Senior and minor training is at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Laragh Camogie Indoor Training continues on Mondays @ 3:15pm for U13 and Friday evenings @ 6pm for U9’s & U11’s.

Well done to our underage camogs who entertained the crowd at half time of our last senior league game against Lacken. Both teams showed great skills and will be the stars of the future.

Senior Teams.
 It was a busy day on Sunday last for our senior footballers who had two games. The juniors got their division 2 league off to a great start with a convincing win over Denn. Final score Laragh 2-25 Denn 0-11. While the seniors also beat Denn in the 5th round of the spring league. Full time score Laragh 1-20 Denn 0-03. They have now booked their place in the semi final of the spring league. Our juniors play Ballinagh on Saturday evening in Stradone at 6.30pm. And our seniors play Redhills on Friday the 29th of April at 7.30pm in Stradone. Keep an eye on facebook and Twitter for all updates and any changes to games.


Garda Vetting
It is now compulsory that anyone involved in coaching is to be Garda vetted. It only involves filling in a simple form. Garda vetting forms for all underage coach's, mentor's, manager's etc are available from the clubs children's officer Shay Power.
