Club Notes 21/08/16

U6 training continues in Stradone on Saturday morning at 10am. New children always welcome.

Our U8s/U10 training is Saturday morning at 10am. Please remember to bring your gum shields. 

U12 training continues as normal. We played Butlersbridge and in a very exciting and close game were defeated. We travelled to Sheelin Park in Ballymachugh on Saturday last to take part in the Fergal O'Reilly memorial tournament. And on a very wet day we were beaten in the semi final by Granard by the smallest of margins. 7pts to 6pts. The lads enjoyed it and a big thank you to them and their parents for come outing out despite the weather. Also thank you our hosts for a very well run tournament and an entertaining day. We played our last summer league game on Monday last in Stradone against Dernacrieve Gaels. Updates on line. 

Our U14s play Mullahoran  at 7pm in Stradone on Monday next. Please support the boys.Training continues as normal.

Our U16s play Templeport tomorrow evening(Thursday) in Stradone at 7.30pm.Please show your support. Training continues as normal.

Our minors played Killygarry on Tuesday evening last and results can be seen on our facebook and twitter page.

Our seniors worked hard to get a draw against Swanlinbar in Ballyhaise on Sunday last. We went behind by 4 points and the lads dug deep. Full time score Laragh 0-13 Swanlinbar 1-10. Having two win and a draw now means we have qualified for the quarter finals of the Hotel Kilmore intermediate championship. We have been draw against Drumlane in the 4th rd which will be played this weekend, where and when to be confirmed.

Club Day
Congratulations to Peter Brady Carrickallen and Dillon Brady Laragh who represented Laragh United in Croke Park last Monday on the club day. The lads had the tour and got to play a few game there. They really enjoyed the experience and done the club proud.

Good luck to all our members as they start to return to school in the next couple of weeks, especially those who are changing to secondary level.
