U6 training continues in Stradone on Saturday morning at 10am. New children always welcome.

Our U8s/U10s have a blitz on the 3g on Saturday at 10am until 12.30pm. Please remember to bring your gum shields.

U12 training continues as normal. The summer league started on Monday last with our lads away to Lacken. We now have a home game against Killygarry on Monday evening. Your support is appreciated.

Our u14s headed to Killeshandra on Friday evening last to play the semi final of the division 2 league and came up against a strong Drumlane team. Our lads gave a good account of themselves but it was not our day. Full time score Drumlane 3-17 Laragh 0-12.

U16 training continues as normal. We start our division 2 championship campaign with an away game to Dernacieve Gaels in St.Mary's Park Swanlinbar at 7.30pm on Tuesday evening. Please support the lads.

Our minors played their division 2 league semi final on Monday evening last against Ballinagh. Please check facebook and twitter for result. The minor championship is due to start on Thursday the 28th of July.

Junior Football
Our junior team having topped the table of division 2 are now promoted along with Gowna to division1 for 2017. We play Shercock in the league semi final on Friday evening at 8pm with venue to be confirmed. Details will be on facebook and twitter. Please support the lads.

Senior training continues as normal. The girls are training hard for the senior league semi final which is on Wednesday the 13th of July against Lacken,and their opening championship game the following week against Castletara. The girls were delighted with the unexpected training session that they had with hurling legend Sean og O'hAilpin  of Cork on Saturday evening last in Stradone.
The U14s play Drumgoon on Thursday the 7th of July in Stradone.
Hard luck to our division 3 schools team who put up a good fight but lost out to Kill in the final last Tuesday evening.
No primary schools training for the next couple of weeks. Players will get a text to let you know when back on.

Feile Na nOg
Congratulations to Killygarry and Kingscourt on their wins at Feile last weekend in Kerry. Killygarry done the double winning both girls and boys. We particularly want to congratulate Eimear and Grainne Cahill on your all Ireland win.

Denn Legends
Our legends bowed out of the competition at semi final stage. The lads put in a good effort at training and enjoyed the experience. With thanks to the Denn club for their hospitality. Killygarry were cup winners with the hosts Denn winning the shield.

Kellogg's Cul Camps

Its getting to that time of year again and the Cul camp will take place in PJ Duke park from the 8th of August until the 12th. The cost is €55 for the 1st child, €45 for the 2nd child and €40 for the 3rd and subsequent children. You can register on-line until 12 noon the Friday before camp begins or at Kngspan Breffni Park. Registration is also available on the Monday morning. This has always been a great week of GAA and this year will be no different.

Water Safety Classes
These classes will take place at Lavey Lake from the 25th of July until the 5th of August. Charge for instruction is €32 for the two weeks per person. For more information please contact the water safety development officer on 0494378300.

County Football.
Good luck to the Cavan senior footballers as they take on Tyrone in the replay in Clones at 4pm on Sunday. Tickets are available from all the usual outlets. Also the best of luck to the Cavan ladies as they take on Monaghan at 2pm in Clones in their first ever senior Ulster final.
