Golf Classic
Our golf classic is on the 3rd of June at Cavan golf club, with the main sponsor being The Imperial Bar & Nite Club. The time sheet is filling fast so get your team in shortly.Tee box sponsors are most appreciated and will be advertised. Any queries please contact Michael on 0872421704.

The club would like to thank all who participated in the two day course. With so much interest in it, it is hoped to run another one shortly.

Kellogg's Cul Camps

Its getting to that time of year again and the Cul camp will take place in PJ Duke park from the 8th of August until the 12th. The cost is €55 for the 1st child, €45 for the 2nd child and €40 for the 3rd and subsequent children. If you register online or in Kingspan Breffni park prior to the 1st of June your child will receive their half zip and T shirt in the month of June.

Minors.

Our minors played Belturbet in Rd 7 of the division 2 league in Stradone on Friday last. Full time score Laragh 6-13 Belturbet 3-07. This now leaves Laragh on the top of the table and in a league semi final.

U16s

 Our u16s had a short recovery time before taking on Castlerahan on Tuesday last in Stradone. They played well and came away with a win. Full time score Laragh 5-13 Castlerahan 2-09. Two wins in two days, well done lads. They have a game Tuesday at 7.30pm in Stradone against Blackwater and we are away in Thursday to Southern Gaels at 7.30pm. Venue to be confirmed.  

U14s

 Our u14s also played Castlerahan last week in Stradone and had a very convincing win. Full time score Laragh 8-22 Castlerahan 2-03. No game this week so training as normal. Next game is away to Knockbride Thursday the 19th of May at 7.30pm.

U6s

The u6s training is every Saturday morning from 10am until 11am. All children aged between 4-6 are always welcome. Any questions contact Ray on 0871333796.

Seniors

Our seniors played Swanlinbar on Saturday last in Stradone and in very wet conditions, worked very hard all over the field and came away with a win. Full time score Laragh 1-09 Swanlinbar 0-07. This leaves Laragh second on the table They will now turn they attention to the Spring league semi final which is on Sunday at 2pm against Cornafean with venue TBC. Our juniors play Drumlane on Saturday evening in Stradone at 7pm. Please show your support.

Camogie

Our Senior team had a 1 point win over Lacken in Stradone on Monday last. This was a great game played in terrible condition, rain, wind, hail stones. The girls dig deep and played some lovely camogie. Full time score Laragh  0-07 Lacken 1-03. Our next game is away to Crosserlough on Saturday evening at 7.30pm. Your continued support is appreciated.

Senior and minor training on Wednesday at 7.30pm and on Friday 8.45pm.

Indoor camogie continues on Mondays at 3.15pm for u13s and on Friday at 6pm for U9s and U11s.

Nancy O'Rourke Tournament

The camogie club will run this tournament on Sunday the 5th of June. 17 clubs have been invited. The tournament has not run for a couple of year and it is hoped to be back this year bigger and better. It's a 7 aside competition for senior teams. It should be a great day. More details to follow.

 Ulster Final

Hard luck to Clodagh and Niamh Keenaghan who lined out with County U16 ladies football team on Sunday last in the Ulster Final. They came up against a strong Armagh team. Full time score Cavan 1-07 Armagh 2-14.

Fun Run

St.Michael's National School Clifferna, are holding a 5km run/walk on Sunday at 12noon. Entrée fee €10 for adults, €5 for children and €20 for families. Registration from 10.30am. Any enquires call 0872421704. Presentations and refreshments afterward. So get your running shoes on and support.

Cavan GAA open night

Cavan Gaa will host our open night on Friday the 13th of May at 7.30pm until 9pm in Kingspan Breffni Park 3g. Come along to meet your heroes, get photos and autographs with your favourite county player.

County ladies and men's football and hurling teams will be present along with team management.

Lot's of Fun and Games and a few surprises. Wear you county or club colours.
