Seniors
This weekend being extremely important for the club the seniors play Templeport in Kingspan Breffini Park on Sunday the 16th September at 2:30pm in the Junior Championship semi-final. With spirit and confidence high within the team and the lads real hungry for a result everyone is excited about the outcome of Sunday’s semi-final.

Juniors
Congratulations and well done to our junior team who have reached the final of the Junior D championship having beat Arva in the semi-final on Wednesday evening last. The lads played extremely well and there were great displays of leadership and passion shown throughout the game.  The final against near neighbours Redhills is now to be played on Friday evening the 14th September in St Adains Park Templeport at 8:00pm. This is a game the lads are extremely well prepared for and with players out to impress the management for Sunday’s semi-final we should be in top form. Best of luck lads!!

Minors
The Minor amalgamation North Eastern Gales of Laragh, Drung and Kill has done extremely well and have done themselves their families and their parishes  proud having reached the Division 1 championship final beating West Cavan Gales last Tuesday evening in the semi-final. The lads played extremely well and the game was played to a very high standard in which we dominated throughout the lads never once broke momentum and pushed to the very end ending with a score of 1-13 to 1-05. The final is now due to be played on county final day before the senior final in which we will take on the eventual winners of the replay between Lavey/Castlerahan and O Raghallaigh Gaels.

U14
The U14 were out on Saturday morning last in the Division 1 championship quarter final away to Ramour United. Unfortunately things did not go our way and after a hard battle Ramour took the win. All at Laragh would like to thank this group of players and their management for their commitment and dedication throughout the year. This team really lifted the club at the beginning of the summer when they won the U 14 league and really brought back excitement and belief into our setup, which lead to the club having one of the most successful years at underage since it came into existence, this also spilled over to senior level where fingers crossed we will get our hands on some silverware this year, so well done lads and a very big thank you.

Laragh Lotto
Results for 3rd September 2012. No jackpot winner. Numbers drawn were 4, 18, 19 & 25. €30 winners were Patricia Markey, Michael O Rourke, Brian Rahill, Kathleen O Rourke and PJ & Kathleen Brady. Next week’s jackpot €11,600 in Mc Cabes Mountainlodge.

Club Fundraiser
A very big thank you and well done to everyone who attended and took part in making the fundraising Barndance on Saturday night last a big success. The event was held in a three way split between the Football Club, the Community Centre and the Comogie Club. It proved to be a well organised event and a great night’s entertainment which was enjoyed by all.
