Laragh Utd Club Notes 08/04/2012

The Seniors played the third round of the league on Sunday last against Corlough in Stradone the lads put in an all round impressive performance with Ruairí Power, Paddy Rudden and Shane O Rourke really bringing bread to the table the game finished with a score of Laragh 2-21 to 1-05 the players and management will take real confidence going forward from this performance. Training continues Tuesday and Friday Nights at 8:00pm


The Junior team had their first outing of the ACFL Division 3 Reserve League on Sunday last against Redhills the lads played well and held all the possession in the first half. However a more determined Redhills team emerged in the second half and got two killer goals which the Laragh side struggled to answer however this was Laraghs first outing of the year with some new players in the squad and with players finding themselves in new positions the lads will be hoping for better fortunes in their remaining games


The U16 are out this Monday 9th April at home to Knockbride at 7:00pm referee Ciaran Mc Carvelle


The U14 are out Saturday next 14-04-2012 against Drumalee venue and time has yet to be confirmed.


The U12 Spring League is well underway with round 4 games taking place this Tuesday  10th April Laragh have a Bye so no game this week.


Training Continues Saturday Mornings from 10 – 11:15am in Stradone. All new players are most welcome.  U10 Go Games Blitz is coming up and will take place in Drumalee on Saturday 21st April at 10.30am more details to follow.

The Numbers Drawn were 1,2,5,7. There was no jackpot winner. €30 winners were Jim O Rourke, Marion Shiels, Ann Neary, Michael Cusack, St Marys N.S. Next Week’s draw takes place in The Cross Stradone. Next Week’s jackpot will be €7200.
