Laragh Utd Club Notes 22/04/2012

The seniors played Templeport on Friday evening last with the Arva game due to be played on Sunday last postponed, the lads worked hard and were dominant throughout the game with a final score of 3-10 to 0-09, with goals coming from Ruairí Power, Paddy Rudden and Gerry Murray. With three wins out of three and six point in the bag confidence is growing in this Laragh side. The next hurdle is next Sunday when we play Bailieborough in Stradone at 2:00pm with the junior game to follow at 3:30pm. Training continues Tuesday and Friday Nights at 8:00pm.

The U16 were out on Saturday morning last against St Killians unfortunately we were not granted the win where a hard working  St. Killians took home the reward in a final score of 4-03 to 4-10. However the lads have secured a quarter-final place in the division 2 league with all their games played now and securing four points. Training continues this week on Wednesday evening time has yet to be confirmed.

The U14 were due to play Cuchulainns on Thursday last however Cuchulainns had no team and the Laragh side were awarded the points, however the reward will not be as easily gained this week when the lads take on Lavey on Monday evening at 7:00pm venue has yet to be confirmed.

Numbers drawn were 3, 10, 16, and 24. There was no Jackpot winner. €30 winners were Matt Duffy, Derek and Noleen Rudden, Paudge Devine, Claire Doughty, and Nicky Byrd. Next week’s draw takes place in Mc Cabes Mountainlodge jackpot is €7600.
