Laragh Utd Club Notes 27/05/2013

Seniors
 

The seniors played Swanlinbar away on Friday night last after a great battle in which the lads played really well we came away with the result winning 3-12 to 1-13. On Sunday last the seniors were out again to Killeshandra unfortunately after a good start Killeshandra who are in top form pulled away in the second half and the game ended 1-12 to 0-05 the lads were disappointed but the juniors lifted spirits and beat Killeshandras second team 1-11 to 0-06. The lads are out again on Saturday evening at home to Drung in Stradone at 6:00pm with the junior game to follow at 7:30pm.

U14
 
The u14 played Ramour last week at home in a tight game that ended  2-13 to  3-08 in Laraghs favour. It was  a good team performance by the lads. Next up a top of the table clash with
Crosserlough in Kilnaleck on Monday evening the 27th May at 7:30pm.
 
Feile Fundraiser

Laragh Utd. Juvenile committee will hold a quiz on June 14th in aid of the U-14 team who will travel to feile at the end of June. The U-14 team themselves will also run "The Kick to Feile" fundraiser on Saturday the 1st of June. All support greatly appreciated.

Well Done Paddy

 
The club would formally like to thank and congratulate Paddy Rudden on his fantastic achievement on winning €5000 for the club in Crossaloughs fundraiser "the Cube" in the imperial last Saturday night. Paddy won the competition outright and claimed the first prize competing against representatives from all other clubs right across Cavan.
