Dr. Plunkett park was the venue for the U16 Div 1 clash between Crosserlough and Laragh. Ref Gerry Sheridan got the game under way and Laragh’s Paul Smith won the throw in and put the ball over the bar. Niall Fitzpatrick add on another pt before Laragh forwards under pressure from the Crosserlough back line had 4 wides. Crosserlough were now coming more into this game with star mid-fielder James Smith winning the kick outs and with a good foot pass to his brother Peter almost had a goal but for a fine stop from Laragh’s number one Dominic Gillick. Brandon Boylan won the kick out and the goalie again saved Laragh by punching the ball over the bar. Laragh replied to this with 4 pts on the trot from Adrian Lackey, Pauric Reilly and Max O’Dea (2).  Crosserlough then took over again with scores from Aaron Cooke(F), Ben Kelly Flynn- again punched over by goalie and the very dangerous Brandon Boylan. With half time approaching the Jake McGovern gave an inch perfect pass to Oisin Callaghan who made no mistake and hit the back of the net. Half time score Crosserlough 1.06 Laragh 2.07.
Crosserlough started the half much better, pilling the pressure on the Laragh back line and won a free which Patrick Lynch put over.
